The Hands and Feet of Christ Jesus is a non-denominational Christian ministry. We hold to the historic, biblical truths shared across the Body of Christ. The following articles summarize what we believe, based on Scripture.
We believe the Bible, in its original writings, is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and the final authority for faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21).
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in power and glory (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to the Father, and will return in glory (John 1:1–14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4).
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer at the moment of salvation, seals them for the day of redemption, and empowers them to live a godly life and serve the Lord (John 14:16–17; Ephesians 1:13–14).
We believe all people are created in the image of God, but through Adam's sin, all have inherited a sinful nature and are separated from God, in need of a Savior (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12).
We believe salvation is a free gift of God, received by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone — not by works, so that no one may boast (Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:16; Romans 10:9–10).
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all who have trusted in Him, called to worship God, make disciples, and serve one another in love across every nation, tribe, and denominational line (Matthew 28:19–20; Ephesians 4:4–6).
We believe in believer's baptism by water as a public declaration of faith, and in the Lord's Supper as a continual remembrance of Christ's sacrifice, both instituted by Christ Himself (Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).
We believe in the personal, bodily return of Jesus Christ, and in the final judgment, when all people will give account before God (Acts 1:11; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20–22).
We believe every person will spend eternity either in the presence of God in heaven, through faith in Jesus Christ, or eternally separated from Him — and that the Gospel is for everyone (John 14:6; Romans 6:23; 2 Peter 3:9).
