Steven Wissinger is the founder of The Hands and Feet of Christ Jesus, a Christian ministry dedicated to inspiring everyday believers to serve others through the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. Born in 1962 as the fifth of nine children in a military family, Steven grew up moving throughout the United States and was raised in the Catholic Church, where he first learned about God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, later earned his commission as an Army officer through ROTC, served overseas in Germany, and eventually built a successful career in business spanning several decades.

Nacido en 1962 como el quinto de nueve hijos en una familia militar, Steven creció mudándose por todo Estados Unidos y fue criado en la Iglesia Católica, donde aprendió por primera vez acerca de Dios, Jesucristo y el Espíritu Santo. Although Steven had believed in God throughout his life, everything changed after reading the Bible from beginning to end. When he came to Jesus' conversation with Nicodemus in John 3:3, he realized that knowing about Christ was not the same as truly knowing Him. Through repentance and faith, Steven surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, was born again, and began a personal relationship with the Lord that transformed the direction of his life.

Aunque Steven había creído en Dios durante toda su vida, todo cambió después de leer la Biblia de principio a fin. Cuando llegó a la conversación de Jesús con Nicodemo en Juan 3:3, se dio cuenta de que conocer acerca de Cristo no era lo mismo que conocerlo verdaderamente a Él. In 2020, during his first visit to Cuba, the Holy Spirit impressed upon Steven's heart the overwhelming spiritual and physical needs of the Cuban people. Witnessing widespread poverty, hopelessness, and the faithful work of local pastors, he sensed God's call to become one of the laborers Jesus spoke of when He said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” Since then, Steven has returned regularly to serve alongside Cuban church leaders, support local ministry efforts, provide humanitarian assistance, and help equip believers through discipleship and pastoral training. Today, his passion is to encourage ordinary Christians to seek the leading of the Holy Spirit, boldly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and become the hands and feet of Christ wherever God calls them to serve.

En 2020, durante su primera visita a Cuba, el Espíritu Santo puso en el corazón de Steven las abrumadoras necesidades espirituales y físicas del pueblo cubano. Al ser testigo de la pobreza generalizada, la desesperanza y la fiel labor de los pastores locales, sintió el llamado de Dios a convertirse en uno de los obreros de los que habló Jesús cuando dijo: “La mies es mucha, pero los obreros son pocos.” Desde entonces, Steven ha regresado regularmente para servir junto a líderes de iglesias cubanas, apoyar los esfuerzos ministeriales locales, brindar ayuda humanitaria y ayudar a equipar a los creyentes mediante el discipulado y la capacitación pastoral.
