Hello, my name is Pastor Benjamin Ofori-Nyame. I live and serve in Accra, Ghana, though my roots are in the town of Kwahu Mpreaso. I am blessed to be married to my wife, Mama Cynthia, and together we are the proud parents of five children. As a family, we stand united in our mission to spread the Gospel, believing that the home is the first place where discipleship begins.

Hola, mi nombre es el Pastor Benjamin Ofori-Nyame. Vivo y sirvo en Accra, Ghana, aunque mis raíces están en el pueblo de Kwahu Mpreaso. Tengo la bendición de estar casado con mi esposa, Mama Cynthia, y juntos somos los orgullosos padres de cinco hijos. Como familia, estamos unidos en nuestra misión de difundir el Evangelio, creyendo que el hogar es el primer lugar donde comienza el discipulado.

Before I knew the true freedom of Christ, I was a “casual church person.” I attended services, but my heart was enslaved to sin, fear, and an addiction to alcohol. I was existing in the shadows of the church, but I was not truly alive.

Antes de conocer la verdadera libertad de Cristo, yo era una “persona ocasional de iglesia”. Asistía a los servicios, pero mi corazón estaba esclavizado por el pecado, el miedo y una adicción al alcohol. Existía entre las sombras de la iglesia, pero no estaba verdaderamente vivo.

Everything changed when I heard Brother Walter Darteh preach from Revelation 3:17–18. For the first time, I saw myself as I truly was, wretched and miserable in my sins. I surrendered to God’s loving invitation right then and there. Brother Walter didn’t just lead me to Christ; he took me in as a younger brother. He discipled me, took me out to search for lost souls, and taught me how to pray and serve the Lord with a heart of delight. That early passion ignited a fire in me that has burned for over thirty years.

Todo cambió cuando escuché al hermano Walter Darteh predicar sobre Apocalipsis 3:17–18. Por primera vez me vi tal como era: miserable y desdichado en mis pecados. Me rendí en ese mismo momento a la amorosa invitación de Dios. El hermano Walter no solo me llevó a Cristo; me acogió como a un hermano menor. Me discipuló, me llevó a buscar almas perdidas y me enseñó a orar y servir al Señor con un corazón gozoso. Aquella pasión temprana encendió en mí un fuego que ha ardido por más de treinta años.

My life is now a pursuit of one goal: making disciples that disciple beyond four generations. My daily impact is rooted in the “Quiet Time,” preparing my heart through the Word so that I can pour into others. Whether I am mentoring the few disciples who live in my home, training leaders through digital media, or traveling across West, East, and Central Africa, my focus remains on the “less privileged.”

Mi vida ahora persigue una sola meta: hacer discípulos que hagan discípulos más allá de cuatro generaciones. Mi impacto diario está arraigado en el “Tiempo a Solas”, preparando mi corazón a través de la Palabra para poder derramarme en otros. Ya sea mentoreando a los pocos discípulos que viven en mi casa, capacitando líderes a través de medios digitales, o viajando por África Occidental, Oriental y Central, mi enfoque permanece en los “menos privilegiados”.
