Food Pantry

Every Wednesday, 20 to 30 faithful volunteers from Pastor Rubén’s congregation gather early in the early morning hours and roll up their sleeves to begin receiving, sorting, and bagging donated food items from local farmers markets, food wholesalers, and supermarkets. This process takes approximately 5 hours.

At approximately 9 am, the cars and people start to arrive and form lines to receive the food bags. At 11 am, the food bags are moved to an open field across the street from the Pastor’s church where they are handed out to approximately 400 families who are food insecure.
