Pastor Alex and his wife Dunia help support the needs of long-term care elderly residents in their communities. Those needs can be as simple as spending time listening and talking with the residents, most of whom have no family. They also work directly with the head of the facility in assisting with any material needs that arise. Those needs can be food and kitchen equipment to ensure the residents are able to receive a hot meal each day to assistance with sourcing much needed medical equipment and supplies, fans, clothing, reading materials, etc. the list goes on and on.
