Children

Orphans
In Cuba, orphans are considered “children of the state.” As such, foreigners are not allowed to adopt them. Given the reality of limited resources, these children can be especially vulnerable. The services provided by Pastor Alex, his wife Dunia, and their congregation are a God send.
Elderly
Every Thursday, 20 faithful volunteers from the congregation gather in the small kitchen on the second floor of Pastor Alex’s church and begin work at dawn to prepare and cook for hours to provide a hot meal for lunch for approximately 40 elderly families in the community that are food insecure.
Assisted Living
Pastor Alex and his wife Dunia help support the needs of long-term care elderly residents in their communities.
